Assistant Composition Director, Old Dominion University
When I was able to attend a four-year institution and obtain a degree, it really opened up the possibilities not just for myself, but for my family.
Now I am working on my doctorate degree and I hope to become a tenured professor. I enjoy the fact that I can go into the classroom every day, speak to students and encourage them to continue on in their education.
“ACCESS College Foundation gave me the opportunities that I needed to not only be a better person and pursue a career, but it also gave me that support system I needed, which is so important during your college years. I really think ACCESS College Foundation is not just something that serves the individual, but it serves communities. It puts people in places where they can achieve the things that they dream, and that’s essential.”
